I'm really shocked that you didn't mention the start of the canucks in your pluses....

There must be a reason Babs plays such an incredible talent with those two guys. I didn't hear his comments after the game but have heard plenty of his comments in the past saying how great a player he thinks he is.

I did see him lie down to block that shot, good for him. I am not saying he is garbage but when we drafted him 6th overall I think it was, I am sure they were hoping he would turn out to be something more then he is. Captain.. no thanks. Although he could teach the young guys on how to dive seeing he is probably the best at it in the league.

He is the best in the NHL at drawing penalties.

He gets the toughest minutes and toughest defensive assignments, that's why he plays with who he plays with - to shelter the rooks.

He is by far the Leafs best defensive forward (outside of, arguably, Komarov, but as Kadri is a C).

Kadri has had a better career than most 7th overall picks. Any team drafting seventh would be pleased if their pick turned into a lesser player than Kadri.

How is that proof of anything? The Leafs have JVR, Marner, Brown, Nylander - four amazingly talented wingers with mad skills, and Kadri gets Michalek and Komarov.

But sure, let's somehow pretend Kadri is the problem on that line.

Did you see him lay down in front of a slap shot the other night after he got hurt blocking the first one? Did you hear his comments after the game?

I got a one word description of Kadri I think you'll like: CAPTAIN.

I thought Kadri was supposed to make the players around him better? You did just say that.

But sure, let's overrate Kadri and pretend he's a #1 centre on any team not in the bottom 10 in the league.

Kadri will be captain of an NHL team about the same time someone approaches you to become GM of one of their fantasy teams.

Making other players better doesn't mean you turn them into allstars. It also doesn't mean you can't be dragged down by playing with no finishers.

You should be better than to finish your sentence with an annoying smiley face. It's one thing to have a discussion, but you don't need to be rude about it.

I don't know what you think a first line centre looks like, but the standard is not Johnathan Tavares. That's elite. Kadri is not even that much worse than JT, but he's unquestionably one of the thirty best Cs in the NHL.

Hey Captain Contradiction. You just finished saying Komarov was a boat anchor on Kadri's line.

i see you apply the same logic to baseball analysis as you do hockey analysis. if the outcome isn't what you wanted or predicted, it's just bad luck.

Heh, that only applies to anything postive you could say about the canucks....as opposed to every one of your other hockey related pluses Those are more legit because not canucks.

No, but it might seem that way since you don't usually have to do any analysis on a situation where the favored team wins.

the joke was not in reference to your political leanings or 'legitimatize'? University degrees.
It was in reference to cherry picking stats and accepting outcomes when they are favourable....try to keep up. 😉

Komorov being so poor as an offensive player did score two more goals then Kadri last year and on 9pts behind. So If Komorov is so poor offensively then Kadri isn't much better.

before you get to far ahead of yourself - really believing your own crap - perhaps they should have you on defending advanced stats using Jake Gardiner as your case study - but only if they do it during a Leaf game.

you know - so it can pass the "sniff" test.
