Yup. I was a bit worried there after the preseason, but he has been decent. McDonagh has been a (frank)ing beast, and Skjei looks like he is getting better every game.

McDonaghs playing his best hockey of his career imo.

We just signed Bernier to a two-way deal today, apparently.

My guess is they're sending Barzal back to juniors. They only signed Bernier to a two-way deal, but if Barzal isn't going to play he should be sent back to Seattle.

They seemingly want to keep him solely at center, and right now they just aren't finding him a spot in the lineup.

I could very well be wrong, but it seems like an odd move without a corresponding one to go along with it.

Kind of makes the PAP move all the more bizarre.

While I don't particularly care, like at all, that they dumped PA...it was/is a tiny bit odd if they truly refused to move Barzal from center to wing. It's not like they didn't know that Strome/Nelson/Cizikas were going to be the other centers.

Well thats kind of my point. Why even bother with Barzal just send him back before the season and keep PAP. Not that PAP is a game breaker but he is a bit better than Bernier.

Vesey has been really good the last week. He and the rest of team need stop missing some of these open nets.

Need to keep Vesey with Nash for now. They have some good chemistry, and as much as you all hate Nash. Vesey can learn a lot from him

The whole team does. They are doing almost every thing right. Other than the hiccups on the PP vs Detroit and giving up early goals recently. They are moving the puck, good on the PK and getting tons of shot attempts. The really nagging issue is they are shanking shots left and right.

Learn how to wilt under a spotlight? Hayes has more hair on his peaches than Nash and Hayes is like Gronk where all you have to do is distract him with shiny objects.

You'll never understand it so don't bother trying. There's very little that makes sense most of the time with this team.
