I wonder how much GG's work is being influenced by Cameron. According to Devon Burke who criticised Cameron's hire (written 3 months ago!) Cameron may have been hired as much for his head coaching experience to act as a "mentor" for GG as for working on the PP.
If Cameron's spending all his time telling GG how to be a head coach that could explain a lot of things.

The Blues pursuit of the puck and the Flames turnovers are making this game look like an NHL team is playing against an AHL team.

The Flames can't control passes, can't carry the puck, have had at least three defensive breakdowns. I just don't believe how bad they look so far and I know it's early, but holy poop do they look terrible.

Blues announcers are talking about how deep the Flames defense is playing, right up against the blue line. So far its cost them some attack zone time missing pucks and having them slip into the neutral zone. Something to keep an eye on during the game and see if they change that pattern

He did it on the advice of his agent. The reasoning being someone could use it for something he didn't agree with. A reporter brought it up at the all star game and he seemed pretty embarrassed by having to do it.
