Patience is key here. Their D sucks and management and Babweiner know it. It will be shored up. But it doesn't need to be any time soon.
If anything use band-aids to see if you can solidify the bottom pairings. Sit Hunwick. Polak. Dispose of Marincin, and bring up a guy like Valiev/Loov.

He's been really good on the 4th line, where he belongs. We have a 4th line that can hang withe best of them in the league, for once.

You're acting as though we're watching a team that is supposed to be challenging for something. They just completed the tear down, and this is the rebuild. You need to see what works and what doesn't.

Coaching is bad. Goaltending is bad. Gardiner sucks. Rielly is worse. Marner is too cute. Nylander can't play defence. Matthews is...well perfect.


Trade them all. Blow it up. Fire the coach. Fire the GM. Rebuild properly.

Stron defense will help these kids learn. The leafs have actually played pretty well this year. Just these awful defensive collapses. It's not good to develop in that kind of environment

Who cares what someone did last season....Matthews, Marner, and Nylander (some games) weren't around last season....we all know, they'd do much better.
