I'm a pot head so it hurts me to say this but I walked up Granville and all I could smell was dope. It stunk. It's everywhere now. It's going to (frank) things up by spoiling a good thing.

(frank)ing humans.

I was in Quebec City recently inside the old city and walking around pot smell was everywhere, an older women sitting on a bench leisurely smoking away, I was taken back because I thought it was more a BC thing...and here in Ottawa I walk every evening and every evening I smell weed.

Wont be long and it will be legalized and up goes the prices.

It's really bad in Washington and Colorado, I was in Seattle for a convention last April and the weed smell around the convention area was so bad I ended up having a bad trip from the second hand smoke. Colorado was worse... imagine a whole lot of mountain hillbillies smoking weed and waving shotguns and rifles around, I didn't enjoy that trip.

Nice Hat trick for Boeser tonight

Guy is on a scoring pace similar to Gaurdeau's Junior year

He'll probably be nominated for the Hobey, but may lose out to the more senior player.

Benning on Doug Jarvis: "He's a very smart coach. He understands the way you need to play to win. We did a good job teaching the players."

THAT right there is exactly what we needed to get things turned around.....and exactly what Ive been saying we needed the last 1.5 yrs. Very happy JB hired him

LEFtY is all righty wth them players .... just hopes if we aren't going anywhere by Tdl they go all in a tank so we get a possible savior or super talent in top 5 ....

Others might see this as a set back or disappointment which could be true and yet it's the consolation prize for failing to make the playoffs

I have no issue with people who smoke weed but man does most of it smell like skunk.

It;s cool that he got a penalty shot but that is maybe one of the weakest calls I have ever seen.

He didn't even touch him.

I always try to be objective and will engage or counter what I believe to be closed minded arrogance. If I post something that turns out to be incorrect then I've been informed and appreciate being corrected. I like being open minded, I enjoy reading others points of view, you get to see people's personalities, humour and thought process.

I have noticed that there are posters that seem to have specific agendas when it comes to posting. There is absolutely no objectivity whatsoever, sure they will enter into conversations and usually have great input into those conversations. But they eventually revert back to their specific agenda.

I have noticed lately that I am becoming more aggravated by these closed minded posts and I feel that my responses are becoming more aggressive in nature. I don't believe that is appropriate because of my position as a mod, so I've decided to take a subbatical from engaging. I will probably continue to read Carols excellent blogs but that's about all.

I wish you guys well, and apologize for being a Richard.

nice....bad call though if you ask me. Puzzling how that amounted to penalty shot.

What amazed me was how packed that building was....for university hockey in the USA at that. Meanwhile theres an nhl team in arizona with empty seats. Crazy.

I believe you have every right to voice your opinions as well. Sure youre a mod but also a person w thoughts and opinions.
It can get aggravating here for sure at times. Especially with guys provoking fights.

If you need your time its understandable. Ive had my own times where I stepped away for 5 days or so.
But I do think your voice of reason is needed here. Dont be gone too long

I also feel you have NEVER been a richard that Ive ever seen

Wrong...they had the 3rd overall from a bad finish but traded for the 2nd overall with a first and Bryan McCabe. It amazes me you don't know that
