Strome Quine Beauvillier work well together, maybe we have a real line. Beau seems to mentally process the game and gives them some of the energy missing that Franz gave them.

And Quine sometimes even finishes his checks. Not common among the top 9 forwards.

On point. Kid just GOES. Isles have gotten a TON of chances and no one can bury. Ladd is snake bitten. They should be up 5-2.

Really need to keep them together. Plus the CC line gives them two lines.

I know everyone wants to plug in Barzal but I would consider putting Lee with JT first.

Ouch! IMO, DeHaan is more talented than AMac whose only talent was shot-blocking. But DeHaan is definitely disappointing.

Edit: Meanwhile, Hamonic looks lost out there. A lot of standing around.

Went to dinner and taped the game and just finished watching and Ok I'll take the 2 points against a young Yotes team but wow I'm not impressed overall.
A lot of work to do and for everyone that said this team is better or as good as last year with the subtraction/additions I'm going to say your wrong.
The Yotes are pretty bad here and their goalie wants a couple goals back tonight. Smith in net I'm going to say we lose.
Just trying to be honest here.

Cappy in the post-game: "It just seems like we can't catch a break out there."

That should be his epitaph.

I didn't see anything. They just announced between periods that he would not be returning due to a lower body injury.

Hey Upstate, I'm gonna say what I think and see. Really did you think they played well or dominated a team they should have crushed if they were contenders?
Losing Pulock sucks, hope its not a bad injury.

I'll take the win, but they should not have struggled to beat that goalie and team. I thought I heard Cappy said it was not good about Pulock?

Just busting your balls easy now. They looked OK tonight had more chances they didn't finish but that's a team they should beat and did so I'll take it. Honestly I think they should win Sundays game as well and have to as the Canadians always beat them and Pitt is the next day

Agreed Ses, didn't hear what Crappy said because I don't listen to him.
For the kids sake I hope it isn't serious.

I didn't notice anything either, but he left with about 2 or 3 minutes left in the first period. Wonder if it was a result of the bad ice because it wasn't noticeable.

@BrettCyrgalis
Not so much a gripe as a fact, Clutterbuck said that was the worst ice he's ever seen in nine years in the NHL. #Isles
