This is beyond a joke I'm not sure what to make of it honestly, Rangers are playing 2 rookies the Jets have 4 and Toronto 6 now I realize that we are supposed to be contenders but honestly not playing this kid is a mistake. This is like me saying I hate the way my new car handles when all I've done is move it in the driveway. Cappy is a joke at this point and so is snow I mean he has to talk to garth about the kids future? Where were they after the caps game? This should have already been decided if this moron won't play him all they are doing is messing with his head especially if they give him another chance as all its gonna do is make him gun shy and worry about making any little mistake instead of just going out and playing. This is another example of this organization screwing with a young kids head and development

Welcome back Upstate and great post.

It looks like too much pressing and overblown expectations from last years gratifying playoffs; but several teams have done just as well if not a lot better so no need to whine.

They need to loosen up and play more as a team because looks like they don't trust one another let alone the coaches.

JT needs to stop trying to pull the whole team by himself. They can't rely on goaltending to hold them in.

It's hard to justify personnel moves when they've barely played as a team so far.

Big criticism of Capuano may be he overteaches and need to let them find their own game. The team play IS pretty average if not downright poor so far.

I think the spacing is a big issue and has been for a while. The d also should have enough skill and confidence to take their time and make a play. While the Isles could use a wing for JT, the biggest issue is a lack of coaching and not a lack of skill.

Yes and I think a good forecheck messes with them. They lack composure and when they just wrap it around hard it's allowing the other teams do to pinch and creating turnovers or at the very least pressure the breakout

It's pretty bad when they do not have a bunch of 18 year olds on d. They lack the direction from a proven coaching staff that can fix these issues.

Unfortunately, when they get rid of Capuano, its going to be Dead Weight taking over most likely. If his PP is a testament to his head coaching, then i'd rather Butchie come down from the booth and get back there.

Ok my two cents time and take it for what it is worth. The slow start of the games fall directly on the coaching staff. They do not nothing to get this team going for games and its been like this for year. This team is a lazy bunch who will never get punished for their actions on the ice so why should they care.

Defense is supposed to play defense but I think they all forgot that. The forwards are just skating up and down with a couple of flurry of offense and maybe one or two guys crash the net. The fourth line is our number one line and should be out there about 30 minutes a game. They are the only ones crashing the nets and getting oppurtunities. Say what you want about Kulemin but he has been rejuvenated on that line and looks pretty good.

This team will never ever win anything with Garth running the team as we know for years the guys really has no clue and doesnt care to have a clue. JAck is another joke and has been for years. He has no idea how to use his guys and has no idea about their strengths or weaknesses. It is comical to say the least. Even though Bailey has looked better this year he is not and will never be a line one guy. IT just amazes me that guys on here have more brains of hockey then Snow and JAck. It amazes me that Garth sat back and relax and never ever got the winger for JT or did anything to improve this team and he is still around. Tonight is a must win situation if they lose tonight it is time to take out the trash get in new blood and turn this all around. It is early enough for the team to be tutored by someone who knows hockey and runned by someone who has a clue

Not trying to beat a dead horse here, but 10 years into this rebuild, this is an absolute abomination. This team literally took steps backwards in their search for a cup. They were already on a snails pace, and to now be further away is literally inexcusable. I dont care who you wanna blame, its not working.

I would absolutely LOVEEEEE if someone interviewed Snow and asked this question. "Garth after your first year at the helm, you realized that this team was in need of a rebuild. You asked fans to be patient and that it would take 5 years. You're now in your 10th year at the helm. Why has it taken double the time, and yet the team is not much closer to the goal of Lord Stanleys Cup"?

Correct their getting rushed by the other teams fore check and Jacks quick transition game isn't happening. The spacing or gap control that has been mentioned comes into play more in the neutral zone which in turn would slow down the oppositions fore check.
The team looks slow and the transition needs to be a group of 5 effort and not relying on one player to skate the puck out of the zone. In other words everyone needs to be on the same page for the "system" to work efficiently. I put system in quotes because it looks more like a circle jerk than a system.
