Well I'll do the best I can. I just called Chevy and asked him if he was any closer to signing or trading Trouba and he told me to go F myself. It then occurred to me that this must be the most common response Ek hears when digging for rumours.

Winnipeg/Trouba seems like a very difficult trade situation but the Ducks should be willing to cut a good deal and move on. Surprised that hasn't happened already. It might be a bit tougher with Toronto near the cap but my Devils should have done this like yesterday.

Apparently though, it could all be a smoke screen as they've clearly shift their focus once again back to Shattenkirk... I did also hear from a TRUSTED source that by Monday at the earliest they will have shifted their focus back to Trouba.

My sources are saying that Detroit will indeed be missing the playoffs and that Jimmy Howard will be bought out in June. Right around the same time Malkin will be wanting out of Pittsburgh because he hates winning Stanley Cups. I'm also hearing the Leafs will be getting Shattenkirk, Trouba and Fowler.
