Give us an honest assessment of Michael Del Zotto or GTFO

You're dangerously close to infringing on GiG's gif territory. Careful, Icharus.

At the game last night I was eavesdropping on person next to me and he had some affiliation with flyers organization. He brought up LA Kings wanting a goalie of ours and went further and said we were asking for Toffoli. I laughed at the idea thinking neither one of our guys could get him back alone. I wanted to chime in the convo but held my tongue. Also, Bryz was sitting in same section as me with his family. Nice guy, but his son was wearing Ducks gear

Unless that person was Ron Hextall or Chris Pryor, I would say that person knows no more than anyone else does. That info is kept very tightly under wraps. Well, Homer probably knows, too.

Honestly, I don't think it's as ridiculous as it sounds. If the Kings seriously did inquire about either of Mason or Neuvirth, while I don't think the Flyers would propose swapping one for Toffoli, they could have tried to work a deal that included Toffoli. After Kopitar, Doughty, and Muzzin, there's actually not the bounty of impact players on LA that there was before, so I could see the Flyers asking. It's likely that LA is unwilling to part with him, but I could see the Flyers expressing interest as part of a deal involving Mason.

It's crazy how tight lipped any person is regarding player personnel for any franchise. They won't even tell their friends about anything.

If we talk about Giroux being scoreless in a year we will eventually break the curse.

When he does score we will be mocked, but we should be thanked!

And if you keep predicting that this is the year that the Oilers will finally make the playoffs, you'll eventually be right as well.

You got it wrong. I'm not predicting he will score. I'm hitching that he hasn't scored in ages.

I'm a Flyers fan, my gift doesn't work for other teams.

Toffoli is one of the best young wingers in the league. He's basically Brayden Schenn but better in every single way. Moving him would require a really really big piece, but he's probably untouchable. Plus, he's a RW. It's just not good asset management for us, even if it'd be cool. Now, someone who could be had for slightly less would be Pearson, a LW. After Doughty and Muzzin, their blueline is a mess. If there is a big swap going on both ways w/ multiple pieces, they'd want one of MDZ/Gudas along with a goalie. And really, it's robbing Peter to pay Paul at that point. We can't afford to lose one of them.

Once Davy Jones Hakstol gets his act together, I'm very comfortable with Raffl-Cuz-Read as our 3rd line, and even PEB-Gordon-Weise as the 4th. Our top 6 is stacked. Adding a forward doesn't really make sense.

I thought they already did, along with the other 29 teams.

That was through simulations. I give my blood, sweat, and tears, playing the game. No simulation. This is my last shot too, all the wear and tear on my thumbs has given me some serious rheumatoid arthritis.

But its a sacrifice I will make to our fans.

What do you want to bet the person he was talking to at the Flyers game was actually Eklund?

So, with Weise getting suspended probably, there's litirilly a 100% chance VDV stays in some more.

I have a funny feeling he will eek out a full 82 games by having someone get injured or suspended every handful of games.
