how was the game tonight?

{not televised in BC }

If you think the Leafs are winning the Cup this year = completely poop.

If you think we are making the playoffs this year = they played alright, especially the rookies but something needs to change with the dead weight vets and D to really be able to get into that 8th spot.

If you think this is a year to clear out the last bit of poop and let the rookies settle in = great game, good compete until the last second, some fixable mistakes but future looking really bright.

If you hate Andersen = Enroth played great.

If you really hate Andersen = he was responsible for the 3rd goal in the loss tonight.

Funniest part about this is that the vets have been the worst players.rookies haven't been the problem. Honestly I think the team is playing really well in general with bad goaltending.pretty weak defence
- ClarksonDavid

About right.

Most of the vets that were supposed to take heat off the rookies have been invisible to say the least.

Think last night was just an example that it's the teams' fault and not the goalie. Though Enroth played great, Wilds don't rely on offence to win.

Leafs play great for most of the 2 periods but unfortunately the whole team goes into some kind of psychological phase in the third that kills them... stupid defensive plays, not being strong on the puck, making passes that goes nowhere near the other Leaf player. Trying to rush the play (in panic mode) instead of taking your time with the puck. I think once they can get this thing figured out, we'll be watching a better 3rd period and both goalies will be better.

Leafs have 2 PPG rookies and one playing better than his numbers.

I don't think that sentence has ever been uttered before.

The leafs are where they should be and will be all year. Hanging around the middle of the pack. Which is the goal for this young team

I think Marner has been the best. All of have played very well.

But every time Marner is on the ice he does something good. It's nice to see

No doubt.

The rookies are carrying this team, the vets are to the detriment of the team right now. If the rookies a an keep producing and learn how to play 200ft game/without the puck better they'll be happy.

Agreed. Although I think JVR has played well. And Bozak has played well for what he is. You shouldn't expect more form Bozak.

But yeah, Michalek, Komarov Ect have to step it up.

I was pleasantly surprised with Polak last night

i wold like to see one simple switch for next game

flip kadri and bozak

let Kadri play with JVR and Marner

then let michalek, bozak, and komarov be the checking line

just a thought

I agree with you there. I would even maybe like to see Seth Griffith slot in. See what he can do. Take Holland out and sub in Griffth to center the fourth line

i like the approach they are taking with him... let him get up to speed in practice first... and to be fair to holland... he has played well on the 4th line

tough to take him out when he is one of the few that has actually done a decent job on both sides of the puck
