Congrats on the win last night.

Ducks gonna pull a repeat of last season and tear the league a new bumhole in the 2nd half?

I'm hoping not as well but stranger things have happened. The Canucks are 4-0 FFS.

Not unless they can figure out how to get some wingers and Lindholm with only 300,00 in cap space. They need to make some moves but I am not sure if Murray will get it done.

This guy is truly unique. Is he a regular poster?

He was trying to be a blogger on here before. Went by the alt BSteinley. But everyone hated his blogs as much as his posts. Doesn't know (frank) all about the sport but thinks he does. His opinions are some of the worst on the site for sure.

I knew they'd still win games. Their 1st line is as good as any in the league. Can't see them in a playoff spot though after 82 games

If we could land Lindholm for prospects and picks I would be over the moon excited. But unfortunately, Anaheim will most likely want a live body. I think it would be worthwhile trading to get our 2nd back and send an offer sheet his way. (frank) over a divisional opponent at the very least. Gain a franchise dman if it goes right.

Are the Oilers perhaps a decent team?

Or is this just another mirage

Too early to tell

I think Connor makes a massive difference himself, so that could make them decent alone. Russel looks super competent and gives us a NHL quality 2nd pairing as well

But they've got some holes no doubt.

I think if they can bounce back after the inevitable consecutive losses instead of the snowball we've seen before and we'll know for sure

Over the last 4 seasons, Yaks most common centermen have been Gagner, Roy, nuge and arcobello/letestu

The initial 3 up to and over double the minutes than the latter two

His most common line was Roy/Purcell by a wide margin, followed by Mcdavid/pouliot.

But he was actually most successful with arcobello And Perron

Considering his lack of production and that he certainly wasn't gonna play on a top line role over ebs or hall, those combos kinda throws a wrench into the whole "yaks was never given decent linemates" argument. Especially in relation to how thin our lineup was and the options available

Last year the Oilers were 1-4-0 through 5 for 2 points.

This year they are 4-1-0 through five for 8 points.

That means Larsson was worth a 400% increase in points. Meaning the Oilers will finish this season with 280 points. The stats don't lie.
