Lou was lit up for 4 muffins last night...back to the old beachball flop.

WD has been good so far. Only real Gaffe was Horvat with Burrows and Dorsett and it looks like we are past that hopefully.

WD has made some nice adjustments that have provided results.

I don't think it was a gaffe. He seen Calgary as a one line team . He put two of his best players ( Horvat and Dorsett) to shut them down. I say good on him for trying something new and good on him for fixing it.

Marwood was saying about a week before the preseason , expect a lot of 2-1 games for the Canucks.

I don't think it is a fluke we beat the Oilers in both preseason games. Canucks are a defense first team .

As I was watching the game last night, WD switched some wingers around and it really hit me how poor the 2 of the 4 lines really are. Sedin and Sutter lines are set for now, but then you have Horvat, Sven, Gaunce, Burrows, Dorsett and Skille. You can either balance, because Horvat can really create on his own, or stack a line. It'll be this way until Sven, Horvat and maybe JV can generate the offense, but until then I think we will see some different mixes with that group to spread the limited scoring around and keep the puck out of the net
