I like it when a Dman where's a letter too. But i suppose that would have to be Edler, who doesn't seem like the chirpy type.

Zero chance Miller get's traded. Canucks management and ownership want to be as competitive as they can to create a winning environment for all the young players in their lineup. I wouldn't be shocked if the Canucks extended Miller for 2 more years.

1) to give Demko lots of time in the AHL to develop.
2) you know there will be another expansion draft down the road after LV (Seattle? Quebec City?) if you can only protect 1 goalie i'd rather have Demko playing in the minors and not eligible and have to expose Miller

I agree, I think there are many better options out there than Miller. I also can't see this team expecting Markstrom to play 60 games.
