That's exactly what he did. Like Rob Ray said, that was a gift from Lehner.

He was doing that then made a break towards the shooter. It was ugly all around.

That was bad all the way around. Bogo pinching too early, the forward not getting the puck deep, McCabe for playing the pass and then at the last second making a break towards the shooter and Lehner for a big juice rebound in the crease.
- Stripes77

By the time McCabe went over, everybody in the building knew he was shooting that puck.

That being said, you're right. It was a shift that multiple players need to forget.

Disagree. Horrible control and left that rebound sitting right there.
- rmiethaner

My post history complains of Lehner's rebound control - but on that play, with that first shot, I don't mind a rebound. There I think Bago needs way better positioning and backcheck.

So why leave the other man? You just proved my point.

They will break through soon, they are creating chances and driving the play.

That's tough, Larsson is going wide of the net, yet he still hits the goalie.

Leaving out a rebound isn't always a bad thing. Leaving a rebound in your crease, always is.

That was a really nice play. He just bulled through his guy. And didn't fall down either. I'm starting to think the Isles fans were just trolling us.

Teams treat Lehner like it's NHL 2008 and throw ice level, low angle shots at him to generate the 90 degree rebound.

He tried jumping over the defensemans stick. Weird looking but still a penalty.

Yeah definitely a penalty, just a tough one, because he was going wide and jumped at the wrong time and the goalie kind of skated into it because the puck was coming.

1 goal on 16 shots for Lehner, had a nice save on Sutter 3 minutes before the goal went in and he still get's ragged on.

Yakupov scored again for St. Louis.

We trade a 3rd to tell Jimmy Vesey he's handsome but wouldn't take a chance on a 1st overall pick.

This pace won't last. By game 44, we'll forget that trade even happened.

Well yeah I doubt he scores 40, but a former first overall pick who scored at a 30 goal pace (lockout year) seems he's found his game
