Yes. Opinion is foreign on Hockey Buzz. Shall I focus more on penetration w a lead or a 3 2 defensive zone holding one? Or,like everyone else here, am I permitted to react based on how the game goes? Last I checked, I wasn't a blogger.
You spend most of your posts saying one sentence reactiom or abbreviations. Mostly though, you find people to needle. Not furthering conversation or adding to it. Pretty sad.

Well lets see... you guys made the playoffs ala the Leafs in the lockout season and were convinced you would go even further the next year. The next year happened and hardly anyone aside from johnny had a career year and you missed by a mile....but youre still contenders, just with poopty goaltending. Now Elliott is playing like he always has but without Pietrangelo, Jaybo and Shatty in front of him he's not all that impressive. |

a bit hard to fully blame those goals on Elliott, but if he's expecting to be our starter, he needs to save some of those occasionally
at least he didn't let in the weak goals he did from previous games

No one was convinced. It was an exciting time, but it wasn't like Kip was leading the team through the tunnel.
Elliott is garbage. Brouwer was not a good signing. This season was playing for the WC with the Oil which hasn't worked out thus far. Once the Janitor emerges the path will clean up.
So far, this is the soundtrack to the season. If you can last, a great Powerslave cover near the end. A great black/grind English duo.

87 was a great year. Amazing unique stuff coming out today, if you know what to look for. Obituary was 91. Gathering was 95. Give AN a chance, you may dig it.
Overkill started in 85 and still puts out the best thrash. Taking Over was 87 and imo the best thrash record ever, along with Artillery's By Inherittence and Exodus' Bonded by Blood.
Music is subjective. I was only playing what I did to meld the low and the high to a failed team. There are many subgenres of metal.
The best year for metal was 84. it is not even close. |

Oh Bullpoop. Unlike Flames fans , us Oilers fans had no dillusiions about what we were-crap! Yes, there was misguided optimism, but never any denial. You guys want to place your team in some bracket above the Oilers, coyotes, Avs and Canucks, when in reality, you have a weak team that will place bottom 5 in the west. You meassure success in the standings against Edmonton. Only losers consider it an acomplishment to better than the worst team in the league.
