I was about to write a whole long-winded response but we are in agreement that there is no chance that trade happens, so I'm just going to leave it at that. - eichiefs9
This is hockeybuzz, there shouldn't be any civilized responses or agreeing with anyone. You're supposed to tell me how stupid I am and possibly correct my grammar while you're at it. |

My sources confirmed this.
The thing is, they said they got it from your sources... your very strong sources! - Aetherial
My sources are very strong, this is true.
But in all honesty, they've never heard of these Flyers......no idea who they are. |

I would tend to think the Kings would want "a 2-3mil, 40games but then drop him easily when Quick gets back" type of goalie. That doesnt seem to be Fleury for me.
my prediction.
Ryan Miller
*He wanted west coast, his wife is an actress, VAN will start rebuilding and LA can drop him in the off season.
The asking price most likely would be low, its also possible that LA will see about Van taking Brown's contract.
- BooBoo997
No way the Canucks take on Brown's bloated deal.
I could see MIller going to LA for Budaj and a 2nd or 3rd, with Vancouver paying 1/2 of MIller's salary this year. Or something similar...
Brown has massive negative value. If the Kings want him involved, then they need to add Toffoli.... so, no way that deal happens. e14 |

If the Ducks want to resign Lindholm, then they need to free up cap space. Trading Bernier for Zatkoff or Budaj frees up nearly $3.5M in cap space. All that money can go into a new Lindholm contract. - tkecanuck341
As I said earlier I just don't see two teams in the same conference, down the street from each other, (whom hate each other) making a trade even if it does make sense for both.
So how about the Pens Tristian Jarry who was awesome in Pre-season |

Yeah, but how do the Kings fit Bernier's money? - eichiefs9
Put Gaborik and Quick on LTIR until they're healthy.
Trade Zatkoff for Bernier.
Put Greene in AHL, call up Gravel.
Send Purcell to AHL when Gaborik is healthy.
Send Budaj to AHL when Quick is healthy.
https://www.capfriendly.c...m/armchair-gm/team/208060
This lineup shows the Kings at only ~$250K over the cap, which can easily be accounted for by LTIR. If Purcell gets claimed on waivers (unlikely), then there's no need to even use LTIR. |

I'm confused. Why is the kings looking for goaltending ? Is quick out long term ? Im not paying attention to it to know. If they are and it's badly needed why wouldn't they call the flyers ? We have two expiring contracts in goalies that are ok . I don't think our young guns are ready though so that could be an issue. But we can't keep both at end of year. If I'm not mistaken we need to protect Stoltz? Maybe not because of games played in NHL. But we match up better with the kings in a trade then the pens. The pens won't get crap for fluery. Whatever team gets him needs to protect him. And that's s lot of cap space for two goalies for a team |

stolarz is eligible for the draft, but may not need protecting |

What a stupid gif. It only works when A. The Ball goes into the net and B. The goalie did not make an acrobatic move.
This Gif gets an F.
