It was a frustrating game. Whole team was probably annoyed last night. Yeah Hank should have owned up to his mistake, but I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Not a Clendening fan. Again I would like to see Skjei getting that PP time. Another brilliant Benning asset management deal. Forsling for Clendening; Chi, Clendening later dumped on Pittsburgh for nothing, thrown into the Sutter Bonino trade. Another brutal Benning deal compounded by him signing Sutter for 5 more years at 4.375. Boninio is the better player.

I'm not sure Clendening is an NHL Dman & if he is, it's in a role as a #7 playing sparingly in limited minutes & games. Not a smart player & has shown little to nothing since being drafted 5 years ago, although only 23 so maybe he puts it all together. Skjei has a far better future & I wish that future would start today.

Couple things I noticed last night.

the Wings PK was super aggressive esp later in the game with guys flying up to the points to take away the space.. could just be their style or it could be teams figuring out the rangers PP that was potent in the preseason and first couple games so far.

Skjei was all over the place, in a good way, looking to go down low in the slot a bunch to create offense. hes def gaining confidence and look how long it took to forget his shyt preseason

I thought Pirri was better as the 4C than wing and more noticeable when the full line up (buch on the KZB line) could just be his luster wearing off and maybe we will soon see why hes on his 4th team. idk
