Kelly Hrudey & Bob Mason were spectacular in that epic Gm 7, 4 OT game in the playoffs 1987. - B2B76
Was that the one that ended on Easter Sunday?
Hasek vs Brodeur (don't remember the playoff year) was another one I remember. Hasek had like a 70 something save shutout |

I love Hank.. dont get me wrong hes the mvp for this team most nights. but I facking hate his attitude sometimes - mrn22
Agreed. Don't say that should have led after 40, note you messed up and take ownership of the mistake |

Missed the game, but just caught up on comments and Jan's recap blog. Having not been tied up in the emotions of the play by play it sounds like the rangers payed a very solid game.
Sometimes you run into a hot goalie, Ranger fans of all teams should know that, Hank has stole plenty for us when the rest of the team wasn't playing well. At the end of the day, that effort will win you 9 out of every 10 games, tonight was the exception.
If you take a step back and evaluate their play (not results) I think you have to feel pretty comfortable with the product on the ice. The results will come.

It was up there. Off the top of my head the best goaltending I have ever seen was against the Rangers. Patrick Roy in the 86 playoffs Game 3, out of his mind. Also Kirk McLean Game 1 Cup Finals 94, as JD said "if the Canucks win this game it will be like Jesse James walked into town." - B2B76

6) "Its funny too, that in a game like this the first question is about that goal" Lundqvist said, somewhat annoyed.
Ya man you facked up!
Easy to give him all the praise when its him winning games but JFC take a little more ownership when you give them a freebie |

Clenndening was 2nd among Rangers D man in ice time. AV seems to like him out there, I doubt he sits when Girardi is ready - TPC
I think it's going under the radar that he's still only 23 |

Some of the best goaltending I remember was from the 1993 playoffs (when I was 20. ), especially for that era.
Toronto (Potvin) - St. Louis (Cujo)
Toronto - Detroit (Cheveldae)
Toronto - LA (Hrudey)
Three rounds of 7 game series, all with fantastic goaltending.

It was a frustrating game. Whole team was probably annoyed last night. Yeah Hank should have owned up to his mistake, but I wouldn't worry about it too much.
Good news is, they haven't been outplayed in any game yet. |

Are you wishing you picked him earlier in the draft now? |

Exactly. And that is the big difference between this year and last. Most notably, Kreider is leading by example, I'm pumped to see his game matching his potential so far |
