Laine >> Matthews - LeftCoaster
I would have taken Laine 1St overall. |

Quick out 3-4 months.
Millers wife is an actress in LA. I'm surprised there have been no miller to LA rumours foating around. - Scooby_Doo
LA doesn't have cap space for Miller (or Fleurie for that matter). But, if you could get a 1st for Markstrom would you do that deal?
Demko and Garteig in Utica, Miller and Bachman in Vancouver. Extend Miller for one year... |

You would have been wrong. Europeans are soft and will never lead a team to the Stanley cup... |

They do if you eat 50% of Millers salary for the remainder of season. |

I don't think you get much back for Miller though. Quick is only done until Mid Feb at the latest. When he comes back what then? There would be less ego trouble I think with a younger "starter" |

If Miller goes to LA(not likely) it would be with the understanding that Quick is the #1 when he gets back and he is merely a back-up. Miller is already showing minor injury issues already this season. I doubt teams want him until he has been healthy for extended periods. |

Miller and a 2nd for Dustin Brown.
Gritty top 6 forward with leadership qualities. - belcherbd
You wouldn't even have to give up something to get Brown.
He is literally the most un-tradable player in the NHL.
It would be something like Brown & LA's 1st + a 2nd.
for
a conditional 6th round pick. |

I think there are much better/more realistic options available.
one of Dallas goalies
that dude that got sent down in Winnipeg.
Ek reporting that MAF could be a target.
Miller ain't happening. - dbot
They cant pick up a goalie with term so other than dude in the peg there are no other options |

I haven't played gorge yet but played Highlands the other day and hit 94. Victoria has lots of great courses but (frank)ing expensive. |

I disagree he is exactly what this team needs, sure his contract sucks but he has led that team to a couple of cups. Can't argue with that fact - belcherbd
Dustin Brown is arguably the worst player in the NHL when contracts are factored in. Same boat as David Clarkson. |

IF we eat half the salary they do. They wont want a goalie with multiple years as they have 5 or so years at 5 or so million for their current goalie so they only have so many options. |

Dan Girardi could make a case for being the worst as well.
He is actually the worst D-man in the NHL.
And stats prove it. |

They have no chance at the playoffs without a goalie and their group is getting up there in years so with a closing window they might bite but pavelic might be had much cheaper due to him being the 3rd guy in the minors on multi million dollar deal |

Who are u going to send down? - Kaynine
If everyone stays healthy and JV gets the playing time to show more scoring then if Rodin is back I'd send newcomer Skille down and keep DD as extra forward ...
JV could play with Sutter or Horvat line same with Rodin and Hanson who is great everywhere can help Burr and Guance out more them DD maybe chip in goals with their forcheck play. |
