Glad to get the Leafs playing again. With the excitement level for this team a few days off is agony  .
Just going to be fun once again to see what the young guys will do. Excited for another game of Matthews, Marner, and Nylander. Along with everyone else of course.
Hope Andersen has another solid and strong game in net. Definitely hoping that his early struggles were about injury and missing a lot of camp, not a great combo.
As to the individual matchup...I'm more than happy where we ended up. Laine would have been awesome to get, but we got the perfect fit from this draft. You just don't get to draft a center of that caliber every year. |
