Needs work in his own zone/without the puck but so special when he's got it in the ozone....

Actually tonight it has been with the puck in his zone.
Overall, the whole Leafs team needs to dumb it down a bit, they seem to be guilty ealry on this year of too many passes in the offensive zone. In the defensive zone it has to be all about clearing the zone... especially when he was killing a penalty on the first one 
How awesome is it to see the skill level out there though.
Matthews looks a little tentative this evening so far.
