I hope this election is the one where Americans finally understand that you cannot trust the media..

Doubtful.

I think Wallace did a fairly solid job, certainly the best of the 4, but it did get away from him a couple times. I loved the ultra sarcastic "thank you" he gave Trump a few times. And that laugh was like he thought "What the (frank) is going on here?"

Wallace did do a good job....but literally 10 seconds after the debate was over Fox, MSNBC, CNN, and BBC were all putting their spin on the debate

The media is the problem with this country...

Yeah, I turned it off right after. I don't give a flying (frank) what they have to say afterwards.

The problem is that too many people do ....an informed electorate is the primary reason democracy succeeds....but informed by their own factual conclusions..not the conclusions of others

How do you expect the public to be informed? You can be mad at the media all you want because they're opinions don't line up with yours, but without any media this Country comes to no factual conclusions.

It's confirmed it's not a Carol/Morgan episode lol. That would really be a huge kick in the balls

I love that video.

O'reilly is really the only tolerable person on that network, and even he overdoes it at times. He "proved" the existence of God because, tides, no one knows how they work, so God must exist. I don't want to get too crazy with it, but just search Bill O'Reilly tides on YT and a ton of videos pop up.

Heard Lindholms price may be coming down, I think he's at 6 a yr now but length of the contract is another hold up.
- SABRES 89

Did u hear this from your Sabres Source?
That would imply that they're interested if the price is right

This ignores the possibility that you could be unhappy with the way things are going but afraid that voting for him will make it even worse.

That's not a political statement that's pointing out that it isn't an easy election.

You are making my point for me...the media (on both sides mind you) spins everything to meet their own agenda...but without them we can't make an informed decision on who is the better candidate......but we can't make an informed decision because everything has a spin on it..

Its the vicious cycle that is perpetuated by the media in order to drive their ratings up. They tell us what we want to hear instead of what we need to hear. There seems to be no journalistic integrity anymore. Its a sad state of affairs when I go to BBC (a news source that used to have a reputation for extreme impartiality) and the top stories are an opinion piece about how Trump blew it during this debate followed closely by "Nasty women insult embraced" and "'Bad Hombre' drives memes".

EDIT: no more political posts for me today....Go Sabres!
