I know Kulikov was hurt, but why is he on the 3rd pair?
- sbroads24

I think they are trying to ease him into the lineup. He has played some minutes with Risto and has been out for both PP and PK time. I think they're just sheltering him a bit while he adjusts. Just a thought, probably wrong, but seems like the most obvious answer.

[quote=Stripes77]Few things:

How does Larsson get called for that trip but when ROR gets tripped with 5 mins left and no penalty?

In OT that was absolutely a cross checking penalty. No if ands or buts about it, however Reinhart should have made a smarter play before that.

I expect a very p!ssed off Lehner after that weak 3rd goal. Not to mention he played the OT winner badly.

Can they get Baptiste a helmet that fits him the right way? Idk why but it really bothers me.

This team will stay around .500 until Eichel and Kane get back.

The gift goal off of the ref was still Foligno's fault. He shouldn't have been attempting to pass the puck to the front of the net. But man he is playing with a lot of effort. Hopefully this isn't where he ends up getting hurt like he has in the past...

Thought I was the only one to notice.

So do I. He had the upper hand during that scrum. He had Gorges bent over. Draw your own innuendo.

Kulikov has been better than I would have expected. He handles the puck well

I was thinking this too. he could also still not be at 100% due to his injury.

It's because he has to wear a visor, and he doesn't want to wear one, so it looks weird.

It's probably a combination of still not being 100% a tailbone injury takes a long time before you feel 100%, him not practicing with the team due to the WCH, not being on the team last year... But he made a really nice pass last night and seems to be coming along nicely.

I know this is beating a dead horse...

But idk how the Ducks could even sign Lindholm?
They'd need to trade Fowler + another contract to get the room
Why no one has done an offersheet with him yet is super surprising
They seem ripe to be taken advantage of

Despres is out dealing with a concussion, I think they would LTIR if they had to for additional cap space

Anyone see the OT in the Toronto game?

Matthews stopped on a breakaway and Laine gets the hat trick going the other way to win the game.

Heard Lindholms price may be coming down, I think he's at 6 a yr now but length of the contract is another hold up.

Blowing a 4-0 lead. Until they fix their blue line they aren't going to win much. They're going to be a lot of fun to watch for sure but man they need some blue line help before they turn into the new Edmonton while the current Edmonton still holds that title.

The level headed Leaf fans say the same thing like we did last year. Fun to watch, but still not there.

That goaltender is really shaky too.

Not that I'm still super happy about the Lehner trade but the people that complained about that and then look what the Leafs gave up for Andersen.

Young goalies go for a lot. It just happens. Murray just haven't given Lehner $5 million per year yet.

Hoping for a win tomorrow and a much better effort all around.

Doesn't mean he wants to. Pretty sure it's been mandated for as long as he's been playing hockey. A lot of rec leagues around here don't even like you wearing just a half shield, I always had to either give a handshake that I wouldn't sue, or had to sign a waiver. And that was 13 years ago.
