It is so far. They were talking about it on NHL channel.

I'm not sure the Goaltenders Union agrees, but I approve of increased scoring. One of the games the other night (Rangers?) had like 7 goals in the third period. Its entertaining.

I know its really so very early yet.. small sample size etc... But it sure seems like scoring is up across the league so far. There have been a lot of high scoring games.

I wonder if there are any numbers out there, comparing scoring in this season so far with years past.

Still nothing compared to the 80's. Back then 4-3 was considered to be a low scoring, tight checking game.

I was at the game. Never seen such a switch of emotions in a stadium. Sad we lost but was a crazy experience

Flyers played a lousy game last night. I think the coaches will correct a lot of what went wrong last night. Most concerning to me, is the team is coming out sluggish in first periods. Seems to be an issue, again. They need to correct that.

Its mostly execution errors. Guys are making the right reads and what not, just passes are a little late or off target, transition isnt working, guys are caught out of position.

They will get it all down.

As a coach, I put a huge emphasis on the first 5 minutes of every game. Come out flying and set the tone. That hasnt happened yet.

There was a lot of everything last night. Just one of those games where everything breaks down. I don't expect Provorov to have many of those kind of games. He got his welcome to the NHL last night. In the long run, games like that will help him. The coaches will help him correct those issues. He's 19 and a rookie, so he has an excuse. Other players not so much.

Having been a big pom pom waiver of provorov getting on the team this year, i'm fine with him poopting the bed, anyone expecting him not to have games like that has poop for brains... part of the reason i want more influx of younger players, so they can get past their growing pains before our over paid franchise players are past their primes... but that's probably too late as well.

Terrible series of events for Provorov. All eyes on him tomorrow. Let's see what his mental makeup is about.
