Its 3 games into the year but I never got why literally everyone was picking the Islanders over the Rangers for playoff seeding. Ya i like their defense but that forward group took a decent step backwards this offseason imo

I think it is a fair argument to make that they may have missed their window, but the team still finished with over 100 points last year, and ran into a buzz saw in Pittsburgh in the first round.

This team, IMO, is being seriously underestimated, because its just the "in" thing to bag on the Rangers.

So true

Pitt will be one of the top teams this year for sure. But people act as if they werent incredibly hot last year and there will be no regression this season. Teams are already modeling their play after them (including us) so its safe to say teams will have figured them out a bit and the wins wont come so easy

every time they do this it is blacked out on msg for directv AND blacked out on NHL network.

Both games this weekend on NHL network
