Reports of us being bought or going dark are unfounded & nothing more than rumours. We plan on being around for a long time.

The thought process was probably that the Leafs drafted a diminutive skilled winger in Marner and there was a lesser organizational need for a guy that probably has less upside in the long run.

Also, Konecny plays with Couturier and Voracek...

Exactly. I like Bracco and Dermott. Dzeirkals looks like a nice prospect as well. They all will take longer to get there let's wait and see what they all do.

"Technically" we got Bracco and Dermott for him right ?
- Santo_44

Agreed. Contrary to popular belief, i find Leafs fans think all of the other team's prospects are amazeballs, while their own (sans Marner and Matthews) range from bust through career AHL all the way to meh, too small and dime a dozen.

They complain about not having a Palat, Datysuk, Zetterberg, Josi etc. yet they are willing to trade away prospects weeks after drafting them. I've seen so many proposals that include Nielsen and Kapanen (some Nylander). It's bizarre.

3 assists, relax.

Yeah, it's not like we passed on Barzal, Connor and Chabot...

This joke is so funny because it's only the one millionth time I've heard it. I'm going to need a knee replacement after all these knee slappers

Some people are even trying to put a downer to Bracco's start in the OHL

It's like Connor Brown a few years ago when he scored 120 points in the OHL. At first it was oh it was all Connor Mcdavid. Then he put up 60 points in his rookie year in the AHL. And it was well lots of guys have success in the AHL. And then he gets near a point a game in his first 8 games in the NHL and some people still would rather a Greening be in before him

These "fans" we have will always find excuses to make our prospects seem poopty

I was more so talking about Fake. But can count for both, I'd agree. Aeth is very complimentary of most other teams and their future. Just not the organization he "supports".

She hates the Leafs, far as I can figure..

Aeth seems to be very negative as well..

Personally, I love the direction this team is going..

I can't believe the leafs let two generational players in Konecny and Panik go.

Me as well.

And I also think Anderson is a good goalie which I know some on here want to write him off after that first game.

That Boston brain trust has been making the NHL interesting these past few years. Truly showing the ability to tank in constructive ways.
