Why would the ref blow the whistle in the first place when the puck was loose in front? Lousy ref on that one. |

Really hope the top line can figure they're sh*t out.. everyone seems to be playing well except them. Once they get going Calgary could be a real force |

Actually it is Ian McShane who plays the character Al Swearengen.
I am excited of the rumours that they actually might make a Deadwood movie to finish off the freaken series (E4).
Swearengen was one of the best characters that has graced a TV screen. |

I hear David Milch (Buffalo guy) has already written the script for a final 2 hr show and plans are under way for filming.
And yes Al was the best. |

Good News!
So what happened in the game against the Oil the other night? Did Buffalo play that good or was Edmonton out of sorts? |

Talbot was awful. He couldn't stop a beach ball. He let in a goal by ROR from center ice lol. They couldn't counter the ROR-Okposo-Reinhart line and Gorges and Risto shadowed McDavid all night long. Maybe an off night for the Oil but we were ready. Todd McClellan is still 0-fer against Buffalo. |

Tanner thinks Talbot is top 10.
Really interested to see how Lehner does this year. If he holds up Buffalo is due for the playoffs. He has shown flashes of greatness but is still inconsistent. Looks better this year though. |

Talbot ain't top 50.
Lehner came back from his ankle injury last year and played really well, had good numbers. He lost 40 lbs over the summer. If he gets hurt we're screwed but good goaltending this year will help us in the east. We need him to play well but I agree he is a bit inconsistent at times. We need Kane and Eichel back and our top 6 will look good. |

I like what Buffalo has done. If some of the Vets like Okposo and Moulson find their groove watch out. The D is still a bit of a question mark for me. |

Agreed with most. Though I think Kane is not worth the headache. Seems they play pretty well without him. Perhaps bc he sounds like a pos. But then again Chippawa at that time, doesn't seem the smartest either. Maybe I judge him more for his mistakes, he is still young. But no reason to be down there after midnight. Go to Pearl St or Elmwood. |

Let's be honest, with all the injuries Buff has Calgary should walk through this game...unless they're not that good! |

I like Kane the hockey player but his time in Buff will be short lived. He dug his hole here and he's full of sh!t when he talks about changing. My guess is he could up his trade value if he plays well when he comes back. he could be a TD move.
By the way, you from Buff? You know the street names well. |
