How has Johnson looked?

To be completely fair, Cam Talbot played like a Tykes goaltender in Buffalo's blow out win, but I'm not complaining. Any day the Oilers get destroyed is a good day (especially since they did the old "WE LOST A GAME! PANIC!" when their record so far is 2-1 ).

That said, this should be a good game. Calgary really needs the win and Johnson will be extremely motivated to beat his old team, but I'm not going to underestimate Buffalo. You can't underestimate any team in this League anymore.

He played really well for us last year but he made me nervous with his rebound control sometimes. Nice to see he signed with his home town team.

On the subject of Tkachuk, give me 2 good reasons why Matthew Tkachuk won't become Sam Gagner 2.0?

- USDP/HL to OHL London Knights, scoring 100+ points (~30 goals) with great linemates (Kane, Marner)
- 6th Overall
- Arguably rushed into the NHL as an 18 year old
- Slow, but great hockey IQ and sense

Only main difference is Tkachuk's "tenacity". Is that enough to stop him from being a bust?

To tell you the truth i thought it was a good post. Just wrong time. People are a little on edge as Flames are under some scrutiny.

I sure as hell hope he is more than Gagner. From the eye test he plays a very different game and is doing very well for an 18 year old who plays a gritty game.
