Wayne Simmonds is a really good player. By playing the second line for as long as he has, we might have held him back for along time. The kid has his nose into everything in offensive zone

He's your best PK'er, one of the best defensive forwards in the league, and they are using Gordon-Read / PEB-VDV over him. I get not wanting to overuse him, but this is just straight insanity. It's legit pissing me off. It reeks of trying to be way too cute and minute manage. Put your best players out to win games. It's that simple, nitwit.

Between the flukes that could happen to any NHL player regardless of age, my opinion of Provorov hasn't changed. In three games, I don't think I've ever been more comfortable with a player being on the ice each time he's stepped out there. Unfortunately for the kid, you don't wanna bring your worst outing against a boarder line dynasty team.
