He's so slow for a guy his size, maybe it's something due to hip surgery but thankfully his hands and instincts make up for it - highstick87
He's always been slow, they used to say "he slows the game down" and mean it in a good way. He's never been much of an in season presence, sure he's had a couple of good playoff runs, but its been years since we've seen that. IMO they should have traded him years ago, especially w their depth at center. |

his value is quite low right now - Fountain-San
These a sucker born every minute, its time for Sweeney to prove his mettle and find out who it is. Lotta teams would find value in Krej's veteran experience. |

maybe. but he hasn't been healthy and/or producing for a while. with that cap hit the value back won't be that great. now. |

Krejci needs some legit linemates. He's playing with Danton Heinen and Ryan Spooner right now... kinda hard to look good when you have to do everything yourself.
If they actually pair him up with some legit linemates when Bergeron gets back, he'll look a lot better.
I don't feel as strongly as everyone else here... I think Krejci is underrated, at both ends of the ice... but if they could get a legit Dman for him, then it might be a good time to move on.
Let's not forget it's been 3 games, and the guy is coming off hip surgery. |

Last year we talked about how he doesn't steal games for us. This one, I think he did - Videoj
Rask steals games for sure... his problem is that he makes everything look too easy... he never looks like he's out of position, or like he's struggling to make a save. Everything is relaxed and smooth with him... which works against him in the fans perception.
If he was scrambling all over the place like Tim Thomas, everyone would be talking about how awesome he is and how much heart he plays with. It's just a perception thing in my opinion. |

Look at Price. Best goalie in the world and I don't think he has ever broken a sweat playing a game. |

There were games where he clearly didn't give a poop about stopping the puck. |

Agreed. He stunk last year. He's never been a big game goalie. I could think of somewhere else to spend that 7mil cap hit and get better value than a smooth goalie. He looks unflappable because he doesn't give a (frank). He will never battle because he doesn't have to. Got to speak with a close tie to a former back up the other day, and he confirmed my suspicion about Rask. It's all about the $$$. |

Price is on a different level. He's the absolute best positioning tender in the game today. Add his size, athleticism, and top end will to compete, and it's clear why he's several tiers above Rask. Only time I saw Price sweat was when PK left him out to dry. Weber won't do that. |

at 7.25 million its really... really... hard to say underrated. For a guy whose never cracked 70 pts, and it trending downward, I'd say overrated.

and by signing him when they did, it forced their hand on Seguin and Boychuck, unless of coarse Seguin really was banging everyones wife and daughter....

I've heard people pull the ol' KingGilmour and claim they have sources that say it was true. Those are difficult to believe, but after hearing the same thing from so many different people in such a short period of time, I tend to believe it. |

He was doing shady poop (biiiiiig time). But the hooking up with teammates' wives stuff was untrue. Horton would have probably, actually killed him. |

What about the rumors of PC's daughter? That would make a lot of sense...
(edit) I mean it would make a lot of sense as to why they dumped him so early for so little when he had a manageble cap hit,
but then again PC just dumped Hall for a bag of crap....so.... maybe its just hium. |
