Hopefully, he'll score a few and get the Sedins going. Gotta love Sutter, Hanson and Granlund eh? that's one of the fastest lines in the NHL, something we didn't have for a long time.

I had doubts about the Granlund trade , but overall was happy it happened to keep the Skink sympathizers quiet. Turns out he is not too bad.

I laugh when I go back over the comments about Sutter over the last year and a half, then the comments on Gudbranson. Seems like JB actually might know what he is doing.

I am guilty too . Sbisa so far is making me eat my words.

i'm more intrigued with Sutter as of late. Played behind Crosby & Malkin in a different conference. We still don't know what we have there?

I had doubts about the Granlund trade , but overall was happy it happened to keep the Skink sympathizers quiet. Turns out he is not too bad.

I think if this line builds chemistry if could be the top two lines when Sedins retire.

I think Eriksson Bo and Boeser could be another top line move LE to left side

At the time of the shink trade i was furious, and the kassian trade aswell, but the Sutter and Gudbranson trades i loved from the start, on another comment you had Sutter getting 25 goals and 20 assists, i have a feeling if he stays healthy hes getting 50 points

Will Bo be put with Burrows and Dorsett, and play 17 mins just to cause turmoil to 1040 and a select with HB posters.

Don't they just need to list one Dman ? Sbisa would qualify

He would qualify for exposure requirements, but there is also the protection parameters:

* Clubs will have two options for players they wish to protect in the Expansion Draft:

a) Seven forwards, three defensemen and one goaltender

b) Eight skaters (forwards/defensemen) and one goaltender

So if you protect only 3 defensemen, you can protect 7 forwards, but if you want to protect 4 D, you only get 4 forwards. Currently the Canucks sit well with Hutton and Tryamkin exempt, so Edler/Tanev/Gudbranson fit the 3. Acquiring Fowler and not giving up one of those 3 would mean they get to protect 3 less forwards

You can see the Sedins are slower this year so he will get more opportunities. I loved the WD adjustment the other night in OT. Sutter and Danny to start.

I honestly think people here worry too much ( not directed at you).

I think we are seeing what life without the Sedins is like now. They did have the 3 minute shift in the first game that led to the goal , but otherwise their game has been very ordinary.

You are seeing players like Hansen Sutter Bo stepping up and another generation of Granlund Sven JV Gaunce learning their skills.

Boeser will be ready next year and Burrows and Skille will be gone . I think we are coming to a point where we can draft and develop a player for two years and slot him in the lineup and take someone out.

I really think the Canucks are fine now and most of the heavy lifting is done.
