Somehow this has got to be a conspiracy directed towards Canucks fans.
Where's that conspiracy theorist dude bettmanhatesus?
He'll tell me how this adversely affects our team! - dbot
What now?
You still on about those pop up ads that are afflicting you? - dbot
I can't use my Iphone anymore...every time I click on the Carol's site a pop up says I won $400K. Anyone else have this problem? Had to open the comments section 7 times before I could post a message. so weak

I hear you and I understand the line of thinking…still don't think it was a smart coaching decision however. And I have backed WD since day 1 but I just can't do it here.
You don't take your most productive forward from the last half of the previous season and tell him he is playing with Burrows and Dorsett because we need to 'develop your defensive responsibilities'. Horvat's defense will improve just fine on the third line with Sven and JV (if JV is the guy). In a time where the team is just coming off one of it's lowest goal production years in team history this is not something that you do.
You don't say to Bo…hey…'we like what you bring offensively but instead of 50+ points this year (on an offence starved team) you are going to be around 20-30 pts but defensively responsible.
I get that Bo is 'buying in' to what they are trying to accomplish…what choice does he have. But with an upside of more points than Henrik in his second year you do not stall that production and upside regardless of some defensive issues. You find a way to work around it.
There are tons of 4LC's out there that can be defensively responsible and we have one in Granlund apparently. Bo is slotted to be our 3-2LC for awhile..let him develop there where he has earned it and let Gaunce 'earn' his 4th line duties like Horvat did awhile back….or give the 4th line to Granlund and let him run with it. If he beats Bo out for a 2-3LC slot then so be it. But Granlund hasn't earned what Bo has after 102 games IMO.
I'm not going to carry on the issue much more but I know a few here have backed WD on the decision…and it is not a good one. I'm sure Bo will be locked into 2-3LC in no time but that doesn't change the fact that it was a head-scratcher and a bloody wrong decision. - LordHumungous
Do you realize that there has been almost a week of controversy over less thn 7.5 minutes with Burrows and Dorsett?
Look, your position on this seems to leave out the biggest factor in all of this. Bo's role is now different game to game with Sutter back in the line up. They had no choice but to rely on Bo's offense with Sutter out 62. If WD wants to use Bo with defensive players for 7.5 minutes and he validates those 7.5 minutes with a Corsi for +87 in a game where the other team doesnt score... then good for him. We may see it again...or not. People go on and on about him not making changes and being a one trick pony then poop mountains when he does something different for 7.5 minutes(with success) lol.
Botchford and Pratt are driving this insanity. Last night after the game, Botch goes right into it. Today I log on.... he going off about it some more still.... I log on here and people are still going on and on about it. I respect your opinion but it seems a little sensational.... I doubt that any conversations like the ones potrayed in this post went down anything like that... Thats the nonesens the rock and roll DJ's on 1040 are selling.
Btw, in the post game, WD said Bo's line last night was something they had worked on. Looks like we cant see too far into the future by judging how the coach prepares for the single game ahead.

You might have to fix it for him, wouldn't it be nice if the attachments auto formatted to fit the page. - Makita
i fixed it in my quote of his comment so he can see how its done, but can't change his original post to fix the sizing... he could just copy what i did and change it.

I'll be glad then we won't have to get Blue Jay highlights during periods - VANTEL
i just checked apparently they're down 3-0 which is great news... now if it can be a clean sweep that would be the best hopefully a blowout of like i don't know... 15-0?

Thanks, that's what I figured, another 10 or so posts should do it.
With expansion coming i see no reason to trade for Nichushkin or Fowler.
Nichushkin doesn't turn my crank.
Fowler is helping the Ducks cap woes & not us to any degree worth dealing for him.
My priorities r STUD D then a sniper. 1C just r not to be had.
Lindholm stands out most so Tanev/2nd is my best offer. Ducks save prolly 2m.
As for a sniper i see none available we can target. Wait for Boeser.
I wish a 1C could be traded for but being they rarely r traded & the cost would be tremendous if there was one but its the draft where we pin our hopes.
After the expansion draft is a big opportunity given i expect us to in great cap position.
Next season or the one after our kids will be primed to make big waves IMO.
That also gives us 1-2 drafts to hoard more assets for future trade packages.
Goal looks set & D is looking solid leaving us to find or mine a gamebreaker.
Is Boeser that gamebreaker? Can JB draft a gem? Or by committee is our future?
