No they dont have to move him at all.

Just like Tampa and the Isles had to move their players.

They wont be getting crap for him, thats for sure. No rush to move. If anything, he'll come back to play.

Can't see that.. But we will see.

Same was thought of Drouin. Ya never know.
He'd be foolish to sit out long term

I wouldnt do Nylander for a Dman who is already a contract problem and has never proven anything in this league.

This is my point... Who really wants him on their team.

Far more rocks have been thrown in this case than from Drouin.

Not really.
So far all Trouba's camp has said, they want to move to have more playing time on the right side.
Same as Drouin.

Almost any team.
A great young Dman.
How he currently acts wont scare away many GM's.

I’m not sure Winnipeg gets a boatload for trouba either. Dougie Hamilton and to a lesser extent Griffin Rienhart are probably the most comparable recent trades.

Those prices were relatively low.

But you'd do a package that includes AHL point leader Kasperi Kapanen, because I would too.

Trouba accomplished more in his rookie season than Reinhart has in his career. Not really a good comparable. Sadly, Adam Larsson is.....oh crap.

It's a very weird situation for Winnipeg because they need a left handed defensemen for their right handed one. They basically want a left Trouba for their right Trouba.

It's more than possible this takes a while to find that fit....

Sorry,
I didn't know Larsson was whiny little unsigned RFA beotch , demanding a trade and rumoured to be looking for between $6mm and $7mm a year.

Oh wait, he's not! Larsson is signed long term @ just over $4mm a year!

Larrson was more experienced and locked up long-term for a very reasonable $4.1M. Very different from trouba.

Hamilton is the most comparable player traded. Same experience, similar minutes, but bigger production than trouba.

I only threw reinhart in there because Edmonton somehow paid more reinhart than Calgary did for Hamilton. (frank)king Chiarelli.

Salary wise sure, Larsson gets the edge. But experience? How do you figure that? One (trouba) has exceeded 22 min/g for 3 straight seasons, and ranked among the top 60 d-men in the nhl the last three seasons in ATOI, the other has hit that mark once. They're both over 200 gp.
