Fair enough, I will give BT that I was shocked it was under $7, I had it pegged at somewhere around $7.5.

What I think would be huge is if they did not have the 10 game loosing skid in Jan or Feb.

I listened to Jonhson get interviewed after the loss to Van and he brought up some great points.

His main point was this team is learning new systems. It's not like a lot of other teams where they are just walking into the year knowing their role in each situation. Sports, like life (I am getting all philosophical) is all about confidence, and these guys just need a little time to become confident in the new system.

The first line missed all of training camp. Versteeg and JG did not even get to practice with the team to learn the systems till the first game of the year.

The 2nd line are all learning new systems and learning how to play with each other. One guy has a lot of NHL experience, one guy has none, one guy has a bit.

Frolik, Bqacks, and Bouma have all played together and it shows. They have played pretty well.

As far as the D goes (as Todd mentioned) Grossmann and Wides are getting exposed. Mainly by McDavid.

Anyways, adversity makes you stronger. I expect this team to become much more dangerous after figuring things out.

I don't know what the "or bust" would be....sure, I don't think it's unreasonable to think the Flames can challenge for a playoff spot, but if they don't make it what are they going to do? Blow the team up? Caaaa maaaan Francis. It's not do or die for this team, not even close.

0-2-1 three games in is no reason to hit the panic button. We're still learning a new system and building chemistry, plus we had a ton of chances to win in Vancouver but both 'tenders were amazing that game.

Anaheim went 1-7-2 in October last year and still came 1st in the Division. Flames fans need to relax and be patient. Lots of season left to play.
