The thing about the deal, though, is that they can walk away from it in year 2 or 3 with very few cap ramifications. The only question is: will they be able to recognize if he isn't worth it?

They sure did, started 4-0, since 0-2 and does not have great numbers. Losing to Detroit and Washington. If the Bills lost to those teams I think everyone would want Rex fired.

Oh, and they traded up for the 2nd overall pick. So I dont think we will have enough to make that leap and draft that high.

So back to the Ducks stuff,

I think if you offer sheet Lindholm and they somehow are able to match, Buffalo has less than 0% chance of getting Fowler. Moot point cause they would have a tough time matching. Also, like others said, I doubt you can offer him much (any?) more than Risto, although he was drafted a year before Risto.

I would say at this point, to get Fowler, you are looking at trading Girgensons + Nilsson + 2nd rounder (trying to avoid a 1st rounder) + Bailey / Baptiste for Fowler and Bernier (goalie with $4m salary). Bernier is for cap relief.

Is anyone even interested in that?

How is this bad? The deep threat opens up the run game. If we had a traditional game manager throwing 8yards a pass, the box would be clogged. His style perfectly fits what the personel is.

Also, who cares how much he makes? His cap hit will be 17th for a qb next year. Is he -skill wise with his running and throwing - the 17th best qb? I would say yes. Very few turnovers, big plays.

Wanna say too, EJ seems like a great teammate. He gets so excited and doesn't complain. Still bad at football tho

The Patriot game was a weird one, he wasn't good by any stretch but he wasn't terrible, they had him throw a lot which was very weird. It was also the game where he completed the highest percentages of his throws.

The game against the Patriots 16 points was enough. There was no tempo to score like their was yesterday. It was almost like they were content with 16 points.

The Ravens game they should have been better but I blame the OC for that one...and he's gone and now the offense is looking much much better.
