We have an out after 1 year. The full number means nothing since they never get their full contract.

For now the Bills won this week and I'm not going to complain too much. He's also got the benefit of playing with the lead in a lot of his games so there's less need to throw the ball.

Does he need to be better in certain areas? Of course.

He also made some really good throws and his WR's dropped it after a little contact from a DB (Goodwin) or went right through their hands (Hunter).

Again if Taylor isn't the QB yesterday I don't see a Bills win, at least not like that, he made so many plays with his legs to just keep the play alive. He ran for some and scrambled and found someone open down field when he should have been sacked.

Okposo, O'Reilly, and Ristolainen were very good. Reinhart was solid.

Oilers were a disaster though. Especially Talbot. That Molson goal and the center ice goal were awful.

And holy moly, they traded Hall for Larsson.

Moulson's goal was awful? Really? He took the pass and fired it top shelf in a blind of an eye. That shot goes in almost every time against any goalie.

Of the top 5 QBs in the league in passing yards only 1 has a winning record...

Edit: And 4 of the top 10 have a winning record.

I would still make the trade as well, just looking down the road it gets me thinking a little bit more since the Sabres aren't in position to compete for the Cup this year or next.

16 defensemen have a cap hit of 6M+. I don't think Fowler gets that much. His comparable is not Karlsson (82 points, 6.5M). Fowler got 28 points last year, 53rd by defensemen. He'll get 4.5-5.5.

Once you're up by a touchdown and your running game is shredding why would you throw the ball? There was no need to get Tyrod a 300 yard game when McCoy was running at will over the defense. If this was a shootout then sure but it was a cushy lead and we ran it down their throats.

I don't see the issue as long as the running game and the defense keep playing like they are. The game where they stuff our running game and force us to throw it I'll start criticizing, but a Monday after a 45 point performance I just don't know why you'd be upset.

Seems to me they didn't take the Sabres seriously, much to their regret.

They are a much better team but they are so removed from last year that they can take ANY opponent lightly.

The Hall trade was a move from strength to fill a position of weakness...and it is working. Larsson has played 2 solid games, and was not a reason for the loss yesterday. Hall hasn't done anything.
