I think it's a pipe dream but it still cool to dream about Lol
- GERBE!!!75PTS

I'd normally agree
But with them having only .3mil in Cap space, they're more susceptible to an offer sheet than any other team I can remember

Hopefully him and fossil have a good year maybe we could get something at the trade deadline
- GERBE!!!75PTS

Not for Moulson, maybe Gionta, but we'd have to retain likely, and if we're doing that that means we're sellers.

Regardless of how available he is, I assume now is the most available he'll ever be. So now is the time to go after him. Once he signs long term he isn't going anywhere
- chilliard77

And we don't have to trade for Lindholm...
we just have to convince him to sign the offersheet

Would have said Pulkinen but they lost him on waivers. But he does seem to be taking some steps back from his potential a couple years ago.

Last name first initial in their username. I assume it's gotta be the same person.

My username is the same thing with last name/first initial. Tried to change it but they wouldn't let me lol

- chilliard77

I always thought your username was a play on the word "chill" I just thought you were a hippie or something. lol C Hilliard. I had a principal in middle school named Hilliard. At least I think that was his name. It's been a few years... Or is it D Chilliar? And there's a football played Ike Hilliard. Played for the Steelers?

How do you know they're from here? I think the only person's name from here I know is Gerbe and that's only because he named his playoff challenge team with it.

And Landlord Tom. But even then, those are only first names.

It's probably me

I wasn't very creative w my hockey buzz name

I think they still really like him though. Larkin bumped him down, and it is Detroit, they do hate rushing their players. Which is dumb in this cap era where teams with good players on ELCs are the ones who win anything.

Yeah, you're another one. But Fitz could be a few different names. Fitzgerald, Fitzpatrick, Fitzryan...

Wonder why we passed on him?
Esp w the injuries we were dealing with

Does he have a bad contract or something?
I figured he was still young enough that he wouldn't have a very big number

A bunch of teams passed on him. Not sure why. As for us, he went on waivers before we got hit with the injuries.

Before Eichel...
but I'm almost positive O'Reilly was before,
and I think Okposo as well
Even still...
he had more potential than Grant (even though he played great preseason)
And certainly more scoring ability than Deslauriers

I know we can't claim everyone,
But he's a guy that seemed like a low risk /high reward
Oh well
Hope he does well on Minnesota

Found this article in the Detroit paper about him from earlier this summer

Any relation to a school principal? He was principal, let's see... ::...subtract that, carry the 1...:: 1997ish. I would've been in 8th grade.

I really thought your name was chill and then iard. You know how some people are "dullards"? That's what I thought you were doing; dullard means someone who is dull(stupid). I just thought you were "one who is chill".

Herzeleid is another strange one to me. To me it means, heartache. It was also Rammstein's-first?- album. I have a few of their albums, but don't ask me to remember many of the songs, I did just hear Du Hast(an interesting song with some double meaning. "Hast" means "have" and "Hasst", pronounced the same, means "hate" and the song is about everlasting love/marriage so it could have a few meanings, even in German, if the use is different. It's a cleverly written song because the way it's written, both "hate" and "have" fit into the lyrics) again the other day. Talk about a blast from the past.

He's on LTIR at the moment. Shoulder surgery. We're still talking about Pulkkinen right?

Yes
Makes it even weirder that the Wings put him on waivers though...
why not just put him on LTIR?
