That's a bit of a red herring! Mike Johnson's system was stifling... any Pens fan will tell you that... Crosby was the best player in the league from the day Mike Sullivan was hired through raising the cup!

You do understand that after you get a concussion they are easier and easier and easier to get. Like glass jaw. See Chuck Liddel. Do you really think Crosby wants to end up like Mohammed Ali ?? He has won everything some of it twice. He is a multi millionaire with a guaranteed 8.7 million a year contract until 2024. Christ the guy may be a concussion away from being a truck driver. Ya he is on the back 9 of his career. Chris Pronger is a guy that pulled the pin from concussions. I don’t even remember hearing that he even had A CONCUSSION let alone suffered from them. Crosby he has spent months in dark rooms. I wonder when he will realize he is putting his future in Danger? Maybe never, maybe tomorrow.

I have no idea when or if Crosby got concussed... I know that if it happened during the WCOH its really, really bad press for the NHL moving forward... Comparing him to ALI is just odious...

Whatever, it is was it is... I just think its insanity to proclaim Mcdavid the best player in the league after two games...

While you are being reminded how the U.S. did at the world Cup, you should also be reminded how Canada dominated and won, despite not having Taylor Hall on the team and others you felt shouldn't be there because of what Corsi said. Thus proving that the management who put that team together somehow knew what they were doing.

Advice: Crosby suffered his concussion nine days ago and while he has been on the ice for the last five days, the Penguins feel he gets more out of individual workouts than with the team. The Penguins are able to better control his heart rate etc. with the workouts so that's the plan for now. Consider Crosby day-to-day for now

I think most Pens fans are perfectly fine with this, Their roster is as good if not better then any team in the league, and they have a cup team and a 3-4 year window... Edm might make the playoffs!

you don't think I keep track about those things? the reason why I am saying it probably wasn't a concussion was cuz the way he handles it. but I guess people have diffrent ways of handeling it. I know I for sure couldn't go to a fan fest 2 days after my concussion or skate HARD 3 or 4 days after ( sid is ofcourse alot more trained than I was back then though ) but ye maybe it was maybe it wasn't and they are just extremly carefull.
