The most shocking thing for me last night was McDavid's invisibility. I have never seen him look like that in a game before. He always jumps right out at you.

IMO Gorges and Risto did a nice job defensively on him. I don't think McDavid got a SOG in the game.

And Todd McClellan still hasn't beat the Sabres.

Damn. I thought the Sabres team D was bad. The oil are franked !! Of course it doesn't help when your goalie lets one in from the blue line.

Right now, it's wait and see about an upgrade for me on the Defense. Would love a Lindholm but not at the expense of Reinhart. I'd give them Girgs and Ennis, and some draft picks, but that's about all.
