Its still quite a bit. You'd have a very expensive d-core that wouldn't be ranked nearly as high as what they'd be earning. He may very well be the best option though unless something changes.

IMO Risto is worth more then Trouba, team wise and money wise.

I wonder if ANA would let Lindholm go for the comp instead of entirely dismantling the team to find cap space. I also worry that it will adversely affect Risto if you offer Lindholm any more than him.

If Ennis gets moved it won't be for much at all but that would be ok just to move his contract and make changes. No way would I offer Lindholm more money, risto wanted 6-6.5 and they worked out this deal. Lindholm wants 6.5-7 I was reading, now i'm sure he won't get that.

I'd be ok with Offersheeting Lindholm in the 6.5-7 area
Risto will just have to deal with it...
Frankly, Lindholm is better

And sure, we'd have to make a roster move to fit him
But if we can get the other half of our top pair for only draft picks...
then u do what u gotta to make it work

Lindholm is the real deal, and the perfect partner for Risto. I do Nylander for Lindholm 8 days a week.
