My issue is with the NHL.tv (aka GCL) internet streaming service. CI is through your cable provider and a completely different animal. I'd never had a problem at all when I used CI, other than you're locked into it just going through your home's cable box which doesn't work for me. Of course then there's CenterIce + Slingbox and HOLY (frank) WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO BE SO HARD!?

We haven't had cable in a long time, and dropped Directv a few years ago. There is a NHL channel (GCL?) on my Roku, but that requires a subscription. Might try that if feeds get cut.

You watch how quickly the management of the leafs (Shanahan and Lou) get the leafs to relevancy. In one year, they accomplished what Garth did in 5. In 3 years the leafs will be a playoff team. Snows had ten years.......and still not a cup contender.

Center Ice is fine, I just don't get it in HD, but it says on the page it isn't offered in HD everywhere so you might have more luck

Just weird that so many of you guys have problems watching the games... Here in the old world I get all the Rangers games in top HD quality on my TV...

No longer in NY, so broadcast cable isn't an option for me. All this reminds me of the very first time I saw an HD broadcast - in 97ish I was shopping in The Wiz in Huntington for an Enya CD for my crazycakes GF, and then, I saw a glorious 34" (tube) HDTV, standing there glowing like the Ark of the Covenant... demoing, of all things, a high def Rangers game. Pretty sure I lost my ever loving mind, walked over, and started inappropriately caressing the television set as a tiny tear of joy rolled down my cheek.

You can't say you drew all the penalties—a few were BS calls. Phantom-esque by all accounts. But go ahead, it's the first game, pat yourselves on the back....just not too hard. Have to also take into account the HandiCappy—we have the dumbest coach in the NHL.

I did think the first penalty on Tavares that led to the Pirri PP goal was weak. The next one was deserved.
