That ship might have sailed. But I tell you what, if McD, G and Staal continue playing like they did, and Holden continues his rock solid play, adding a player like Klein to that unit makes them that much better. I was seriously impressed with the defense yesterday and Klein has for stretches been our best defenseman after McD so adding a piece like that back in will have a huge impact.

Clendening will sooner or later poop his pants somehow too.

You guys have drafted/developed a ton of complements. Nino, Okposo, Bailey, Strome, Dal Colle, Ho Sang, Nelson all at some point were thought to be able to complement Tavares. Those guys just all suck too much. All busts, except Nino who would be the best complement imo but we all know what happened there.

Tavares will look nice in a Leafs jersey lining up next to Matthews in a couple years.

My issue is with the NHL.tv (aka GCL) internet streaming service. CI is through your cable provider and a completely different animal. I'd never had a problem at all when I used CI, other than you're locked into it just going through your home's cable box which doesn't work for me. Of course then there's CenterIce + Slingbox and HOLY (frank) WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO BE SO HARD!?

Attendance figures includes giveaways and other such nonsense, and bears little resemblance to the number of seats that are actually occupied. Just take a look at the video - middle of OT half the seats are empty, and that's in their lower bowel

You watch how quickly the management of the leafs (Shanahan and Lou) get the leafs to relevancy. In one year, they accomplished what Garth did in 5. In 3 years the leafs will be a playoff team. Snows had ten years.......and still not a cup contender.
