I'm a Hawks fan, and I think its ludicrous that he has them 1st in the central. Defenses and goaltender is solid. The offense? far from it. It could easily be a disaster in the making. They should be 3rd or 4th at best in the central

And for all those that talk about Panik being a weak link at winger in the Hawks top 6, answer me this, how many teams have a better trio of wingers than Kane, Panarin, and Hossa? (nobody)

So, go ahead and mock Panik being in the top 6 all you like, you're only desperately reaching for flaws. There are far worse things than having Panik as your 4th best top 6 winger when the other 3 are Kane, Panarin, and Hossa.

If the Hawks can get a couple kids to work on in the bottom 6 to go along with a move at the TDL they'll be in good shape going into the playoffs. That's the real issue, overall forward depth. Their top 6 is fine. Panarin-AA-Kane, Panik-Toews-Hossa is very, very solid.

I am a Jets fan and I do not think the Jets will finish 3rd in the Central. They have lots of rookies and I look at this year being full of growing pains. I think they will be a bubble at team at best!

Hossa is still an excellent player. I just wonder if he can stay healthy given his age and the minutes Quennville plays him.

High ankle sprain is a minimum 8 weeks and can linger for four to five months, trust me as I had one and it takes more than 8 weeks to return to full strength.
