Matthews doing so well is annoying, but hardly horrible for "Buffalo hockey"
He'd have been great wherever he went

Nope I remember them all. Losing to Phili and Boston are up there but having Eichel go down on the same day Canada's new golden boy Matthews scores four goals in his first game takes the cake for me

And zero for the rest of the team. Leafs fans won't pay attention to that though. They'll think Matthews will score four every game.

I only posted 4 goals for him because someone posted he has 3 already, that's why I posted it. I don't care how many goals he scores to be honest.

not jealous I can care less, I just think it's funny that most here have wanted to jump off the bridge twice today, Eichel being hurt and Matthews scoring goals, it's comical if you ask me.

Little bit of both probably. But to start I'd guess move Larsson or Girgensons up. A lot less shifting that way.

That's my opinion and i've said it before also right after the draft, has nothing to do with this game tonight.

Wish Murray would have claimed Mark McNeil, i've liked him since the Hawks drafted him.

Leafs proving why the tank is critical for a team to build a future. Wish murray would have traded Johnson last year at the deadline for literally anything as he single handedly won us a handful of games down the stretch. A mini tank the last 10 games would have gotten us at least a shot at the lottery for Matthews. It's only one game, but he looks like he's been playing for 3-4 years already

Armia is certainly developing a lot slower than I thought,
But he's been decent for the Jets
And was a big piece in that trade

Plus, it's not like McNeil has done anything yet
