zac rinaldo has been an NHL player for something like 5 NHL seasons

http://www.hockey-referen.../players/r/rinalza01.html

I think they'd rather have Laughton playing top minutes in the AHL than sitting in the press box. Also, they're likely to carry a 14th forward (VDV).
- jmatchett383

Im sure they would but I believe Laughton would have to clear waivers and probably has a higher chance to be claimed than VDV. They might just try and trade him all together. It is fine by me, Laughton was a projected 3rd line C at best.

I cancelled my Gamecentre because of the stupid blackout restrictions. I would miss games because a local channel would be broadcasting in another region. So it didnt matter if it was on TV in my area. Example CBC Montreal played the Flyers VS Montreal game. I live in the Toronto region so a Toronto game was on instead, I dont get access to CBC Montreal because I am not in that area yet is was blacked out for me anyways. F that.

the blackout restrictions are annoying, especially for a team that is on national tv as much as the flyers. I thought center ice had the same restrictions, but I've got no clue. I just know gamecenter was awesome when I didnt live in the philly market. It is pointless in a local market

When a defenseman plays a top 4 role for the majority of his career, and over multiple NHL seasons, that makes him a top 4 defenseman. You may not think he is the ideal player in that spot, but the facts show that he is.

then why was he scratched/sent to the AHL last season?

Have they made the iToilet yet? It's compatible with your iPhone; it has speakers that let you play music from your phone through the toilet, all for the low price of $8000. I'm sure they'd sell 7 million the first day, with people skipping work for 2 weeks to wait in lines to be the first one to get one.

I think the only way VV gets claimed is if hak is coaching a different team, he seems to be the only person that thinks he is an NHL player. love the guy, but come on.

Not one to jump into a fight between 2 grown ups but be assured the response will be soon following about Hak and Hextall's commentary that based on performance he should have been there but they had to send him down based on cap issues to balance the equation.

I think of like this.

Last camp MacDonald didn't play well enough for a spot in top 6.

Got sent down. Played well. Got called up. Played well.

This camp MacDonald played well. Earned a spot. not sent down.

Looks pretty simple

When was the last time an NHL player has "unsuccessful surgery?" Even when Forsberg's ankle was twisted like a pretzel, all his procedures were considered "successful." When was the last time that a player had a procedure done and the doctors (frank)ed up?

I can't answer that. In my opinion, he should've never been sent down. He's certainly better than Manning, Medvedev, and arguably Schultz. Hextall had signed Medvedev and wanted to give Manning a shot. That was decided before training camp in my opinion.
