I met Bob at a hockey convention years ago in Vegas. As we were talking, a Flyer fan came up to us and said, "Excuse me Mr Nystrom but you were offsides."

Yeah, saw that. They reported during camp that they had an agreement where if Gerbe didn't make the team out of camp that he was going to go play in Switzerland. He didn't want to play in the AHL.

Agree KR, can't argue with those selections. Obviously voted on by the players because our GM and Coach would have phucked that up as well.

I'm not sure this was posted, but what a shock that the Rangers were picked ahead of the Isles. Brooks actually mentioned the Isles D needing sprucing up?

The fact that he wrote they have to adapt to the Barclays, is one, lazy journalism, and two, makes ZERO sense.

Also, he's got a Huberdeau less FLorida team 6 spots ahead of the isles, who may I remind him knocked them out of the playoffs.

Nelson needs to step up his game having 3 less pts than Kreider.

Storme better wake up or he's gonna be in Bridgeport again. Nelly needs to bring the same game night in night out agreed.
However, FN is gonna be missed Ses. Guy just did everything and he hasn't been replaced imho. I know a lot on here won't agree as Frans was one of this boards whipping boys but I truly believe he will be missed. Ko and Frans were part of the core and the 2nd and 3rd highest PO point guys in the playoffs so to say they had nothing to do with it is excessive. All in all the team is a different team and a lot of questions need to be answered to see what the team can do. That said I think Ladd and KO wash each other out (hopefully JT and Ladd mesh Probably will but not a guarantee), Chimera replaces MM and then some. Again the hole left by Frans is still there.

Fransys 52 pts will hopefully be added with Barzal and Beauvillier. Its not too far fetched to believe they can combine for 52 pts or more!
