I just picture team doctors watching halak just waiting for him to pull his groin - Flexingtheshaft
Garth should teach him how to play a more stand up style so he doesn't have to stretch or bend very much lol |

Hickey sucks. Can we just move on from him already please? I said Andrew MacDonald was awful. No one wanted to listen. I was right. Will someone please get this munchkin out of here for the love of God? - BringNYIhome
Did you not watch the playoffs last year? He was the isles best dman |

Meh, I'm gonna say Leddy was our best dman of the playoffs last year.
That said Hickey certainly played well and raised his game but TH also would be another choice better than Hickey. Just my opinion but to say Hickey sucked is just stupid. |

I'm surprised several members of the board never jumped on this, especially given the handle you chose. |

So with this roster...
16 91 29
27 18 13
25 72 12
84 53 15
Would probably be what I'd think they should start with, however I know that won't be the case. |

I'm gonna hear it for saying this but this team is going to miss Frans! He has not been replaced, as well Garth failed again to get the wing that JT needed on the top line. If the two kids don't work out or even Ho Sang this team is taking a step back this year. |

I think most will agree Nielsen hasn't been replaced. Lot of unknowns for this season. Strome,Nelson,Lee, how the kids play if they stick past 9 games. If ho sang and pulock come back up quickly and if they can contribute (pulock should not have gone down)
The best part is that if this doesn't work, we should see ledecky clean house.
I may be able to see the rangers game, depends on the wifi in our hotel in Bruges, plus it'll start at midnight, so we'll see. |

My prediction with this roster is Snow and his buds will be looking for jobs no later than December. Honestly think even earlier but I'll give them an extra month

Seidenberg over Pulock - Cptmjl
I think that was to keep 72 & 13 without waiving anyone, but I don't agree with it. Pulock should have been kept up and berube or Quine waived. |

You don't demote a player to keep a prospect up. Pulock put his time in and earned it. That's how you piss players off. Also you're once again not dressing the best line up you can for the wrong reasons something Snow is famous for. We'll see who knows we're do for some luck but this line up with 2 rookies in the top 9 is not making me confident in an way. To me this is another half arsed botch job by our GM. Total bush league bs. We should've been legit contenders 3 years ago instead we'll hover in this maybe make playoffs purgatory until he learns what it takes to take the next step.
Anyone swallowing this pill Snow is giving should dip their head in a bucket of ice total gong show. What I love is Staple publicly ripping Pulock game to justify this insanity when he was praising him the game before. Saw this coming a mile away. This is bad asset management, snow unable to make a trade happen, and just plain ineptitude. You're thinking the same thing you just don't want to say it |

I must say you bring up some strong points. One of those that cannot be disputed is that this team should have been contenders three years ago. |

Not to worry, Capuano will be shuffling the lines by the first whistle anyway. |

Seidenberg over Pulock - Cptmjl
Pulock is not going to remain in the minors for long. I think its pretty obvious hes down there because they want to give Barzal and Beuvillier their nine-game look before deciding their fate. If they are to remain with the club all year, then one of Quine or Prince can be waived and Pulock comes up. Pulock is only in Bridgeport because he didn't have to pass through waivers to be sent there. He's not there because they don't like him or think he's worse than Seidenberg (I hope). |

Agree with the first part. I'd be fine with waiving Quine, but not Berube. 3-goalie anomaly aside, if (when) Halak gets hurt, The isles are going to need a capable partner in net with Greiss. They don't have that in Bridgeport. McAdam and Gibson are not NHL ready. Besides, putting Berube on waivers would have almost certainly led to him being picked up and losing him for nothing. |

That's just not true. PAP and Seidenberg were both justified in fact you were the first to justify anything Snow did .
Sorry let's call a spade a spade here
Edit; I'm not sitting here saying I told you so but let's stop with the BS. Also who knows maybe this roster will surprise but as of now this looks like an absolute crap shoot with more of a negative outlook than positive. |

The thing is, the crap shoot isnt with the two young kids. Its with the other draft picks that havent been excelling, or consistent I.E : Strome, Lee, Nelson, Bailey |

Maybe. I don't think it's "almost certainly" though. Goalies are going for pretty cheap because there are more of them than available jobs...that's probably doubly true for unproven tweeners who aren't a sure bet to fill the need of capable starter or reliable backup. |

I liked the pap and seidenburg moves because i thought siedenburg would be 7th D and PAP would reconnect with JT but i said many times i still wanted the trade for a first lone RW. If PAP played 2nd line i wouldnt care but to waive him was stupid hes a step up over bailey and right now strome
Pulock not on the opening roster blows my mind.

Again, no I told you so here but the writing was on the wall a month ago. These clowns do the same EXACT stupid shat every year. Both Capuano and Snow's personnel decisions are ridiculously bad and always have been. This is nothing new. Why is this a shock when it happens every, single year? Who knows maybe Jupiter is in line with Saturn and this group will surprise but if I had to bet my money is going with every one of these clowns being on the unemployment line in the not too distant future. That's if Ledecky holds true to his word. |
