Different players I think. Pulkkinen has a wicked shot but has trouble making space on the ice to unleash it. Is he an AHL lifer like Shink or a young player like Bae that needs another chance? Don't know.

Ahl lifer?? the guy is 21 still developing and trying to find his game.. when hes as old as baertschi in three years and still in the same position he is in now then you can call him a ahl lifer instead of still feeling butthurt and making and excuse for trading away a prospect to early

Id have to agree. Calling Shink an AHL lifer is a reach at this point.

I think Etems NHL life just got extended a bit and he's going to be given a chance to show well or he'll be the one going down when Rodin is back. Still JV to Utica though.

unfortunately I believe we will see him back in the "K" by Christmas ...

I like his PK skills, but suspect he's lost a step and would be better suited for a grinder line.
Would still play him on the PK2 tho.

he fits well in both situations actually.
But just cause he has lost a step doesnt mean he cant playmake, or screen or even score in clutch situations. His hockey IQ is still real good
