Lupul not expected back in the near future, per Lamoriello. Had operation last year + back problem he's dealing with. "Not fit to play. - tomburton99
Shame. He was a talented player when healthy. |

Crosby will get more points healthy...but Benn will score 40 and give you like 200 hits...he basically is the new Eric Lindros |

I don't know, but my McDavid-Malkin one-two punch in the Rag$ fantasy league is looking even sexier now. |

Malkin will be injured sometime this year. It happens every year with him it seems. |

Also, there aren't 600 goalies in the league so this estimate seems a bit high |

I think my defense is going to bring in some points. I had an awful defense last year. |

You ever play CBS fantasy hockey, their scoring system is out of whack and I was the only one of my friends to notice.
Forwards get 2 points for assists and 3 points for goals. Dmen get 3 for assists and 5 for goals.
I drafted Burns in the first, OEL in the third and Barrie in the 6th. Afterwards everyone asked why I drafted D so early and I pointed out the scoring, now they are all (frank)ed. |

I never played anything until last year. I had Burns last year, he was solid for me in all categories. |

That's bizarre, never heard of points being weighted differently for defense vs. forwards. |

It's a point based head 2 head instead of categories. It definitely is weird, glad I read the league details. Seems I made out pretty good focusing on defensemen. |

So I'm guessing in the yahoo league the team has to designate the player to IR before you can put the player there? |

I play in Cbs for a work league.
Goals are 3 for all players. Assist are 2 for all players. PIM are .5 points. Hits are .1 point per hits. Blocked shot are .25 per every block. +/- are 1 or -1 respectively. Points on the power players are an extra point. Shorthanded are an extra 2 points. GWG is 2 extra points.
Goalie saves are .2 per every save. Wins are 5 points, shutouts an extra 3 points. Shootout saves/goals are .5 or -.5 respectively. Goals against are -1 pint for every goal. |
