Kassian is a good agitating 4th liner than can play a solid energy game, not bad defensively and can chip in some offence. Dirt cheap too. What's the problem.

Have you seen Caggula play this exhibition season? Quality free agent signing.

caggilua is a free kick at the can for the team as a signee out of college. costs nothing. all upside. and hes looked good. certainly better than yakupov did anyway.

russel > fayne. so yeah, thats an upgrade.

we needed a top pairing right shot. say what u will about what we gave up- but you also certainly cant assume the market.

So Chia hasn't recognized the need to upgrade our top pair on D, or add size and toughness to team with a rep for being pushed around? To upgrade the laughable goaltending?

It seems he has made a poopload of progress in those areas. Is he done? Probably not, but it's been a busy summer.

1) This size and toughness is an outdated and outmoded way of thinking. The Blackhawks have shown this over the past five or so years and the Penguins proved it this year. Hall >>>>>> Lucic.

2) You did upgrade your defense, but then you go and add a weak link in Russell. An expensive weak link to a d-core with just as weak links.
